Welcome to the Washington County Tennessee ARES Team website. We are here to bring emergency communications to the cities, towns, and communities of Austin Springs, Boones Creek, Bowmantown, Embreeville, Fall Branch, Gray, Lamar, Limestone, Midway, Mountain Home, Johnson City, Jonesborough, Oak Grove, Spurgeon, South Central, Stewart Hill, Telford, Sulphur Springs, Washington College, and Watauga.

With the Washington County Tennessee Amateur Radio Emergency Services Team, we offer courses, training, and a weekly training Net for passing traffic. Education is important, and we will supply you with the necessary documentation to service our community in the time of disaster.

Our ARES Team is affiliated and partnered with American Radio Relay League, Ballad Health, Johnson City Schools, Northeast Tennessee District 7 Skywarn, National Traffic System, Red Cross of the Tri-CitiesTennessee ARES Section, Tennessee Medical Reserve Corp, and the Veterans Affairs Hospital of Mountain Home.

The members of the Washington County Tennessee ARES Team consist of Amateur Radio Operators from several walks of life. From teachers to police officers and life insurance sales to retired members, we specialize in keeping our communications strong to benefit our local communities and friends around our great nation.
